Privacy notice

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and event or message details. We use these to respond to your request and manage café hire and catering enquiries.

Your enquiry is stored in our protected management system and may be sent to the café team by email when email notifications are enabled. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message. An enquiry does not reserve the Bandstand ceremony venue, which is booked separately with Brighton & Hove City Council.

While you fill in a hire or catering enquiry, your draft details are saved in this browser tab’s session storage to let you return to them. The draft expires after 24 hours, is cleared after a successful submission, and is not shared with the café until you submit. Please close the tab or clear browser data if you are using a shared device.

If you pause website animations, that preference is remembered in this browser tab. Your device’s reduced-motion setting is also respected.

Staff sign-in uses an essential session cookie. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Google Fonts and the embedded Google Map make requests to Google when loaded. You can also use the external directions link to open Google Maps.
